Women’s Soccer Slotted Fourth in NJAC Preseason Poll

PITMAN, N.J. (8/14/18) - The Kean University women's soccer team has been slotted fourth in the New Jersey Athletic Conference Preseason Poll.

TCNJ took the top slot with seven first place votes, while Rowan landed in the second slot with three first place votes and Montclair State completed the top three. The rest of the poll is as follows: Stockton, William Paterson, Rutgers-Newark, Rutgers-Camden (Dark Horse), Ramapo and NJCU.

Last season, the Cougars went 11-6-2 overall with a 5-4 mark in the NJAC and an appearance in the NJAC tournament first round.

The Cougars return only one All-NJAC selection in junior Sabrina Pascarella.

Head Coach Brian Doherty and the Cougars will open the 2018 season hosting the Dolphins of the College of Staten Island in the Cougar Classic on Friday, Aug. 31st at 5:00 p.m.
